Self-Care & Mindfulness: Strategies for Cultivating a Conscious Classroom/Community
This one-week course provides educators with space to connect to their self-care needs, dig deep into their current practices, learn and practice mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques, and explore ways to integrate mindfulness and self-care into their classrooms/communities.
Dates: August 10-14
Time: 9am-4pm (including lunch and time for individual practice)
Investment: $250 (scholarships available)

Virtual Self-Care Workshop
This pay-what-you-can workshop provides participants with the opportunity to: (1) learn and practice breathing techniques that help decrease stress levels, (2) reflect on their current practices, (3) gain awareness of practices that increase emotional regulation, stress management, and self-awareness, and (4) discover practical steps for creating their own sustainable self-care practice.

Community Yoga Class
Surreal Self-Care is officially leading yoga classes! All classes are pay-what-you-can (suggested donation of $5-$15) and accessible to people who may be new to the practice.
Classes will be every Tuesday at the HEALing Hub at 6:30-7:30pm! Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class starting to find parking and settle in. Yoga mats are provided. Come as you are!

Self-Care Session for Educators
This session is for all educators (teachers, counselors, caregivers, community advocates, etc.) interested in becoming more compassionate and caring with themselves. At the center of genuine self-care is true self-love, self-compassion, and self-forgiveness. This workshop is all about building our capacity to fully love and extend compassion to ourselves as we journey through our work.

Sowing Seeds of Self-Care: Strategies for Cultivating a Compassionate Classroom
This workshop guides aspiring educators to build personalized self-care toolkits that will better prepare them to navigate the socioemotional demands of teacher life. Through journaling, visualization, mindful sharing, and community-building exercises, participants will discover how taking genuine care of themselves allows for more compassionate and effective teaching.
